Beech Hill Annual Barbecue 2012

The Memorial Hall played host to the annual village barbecue on July 14th when villagers came together, dodging the showers for a sizzling feast of locally prepared food. Gill Grahame and John and Iris Wait organised the event which everyone adjudged to be a roaring success.

Chris Boardman (pictured) and Will Anstice provided musical entertainment and Bob Walton from Trunkwell Manor generously donated burgers and sausages.

Local artist Bryan Fowler (pictured) presented the Memorial Hall Trustees with a beautifully rendered oil painting of the new hall which has been mounted on the wall next to the picture he painted in 2010 of the old hall with the new construction in the background.
