If you are reading this then you probably take an interest in village events. The Burns night dinner and Scottish dancing is cancelled for a number of reasons.
It does however throw up the debate that is needed in the village about supporting initiatives that are promoted or lose them from being organised for lack of interest. It may be that knowledge of events is not widely known but the village notice boards and this web site and the village web site and the shop notice board are kept well uptodate. In addition we have brought back the blackboard outside the hall that people said was useful to see what the next event is. Feedback most welcome via this site, the village site, the shop etc. It's the old adage - 'use it or lose it'.
